De Chantal establishes programs for the purposes of community development, education and sustainability. She has extensive experience in community engagement, and regularly works with newly arrived cultural groups.
De Chantal has initiated and developed projects with a range of stakeholders including: Maribyrnong City Council, the City of Port Phillip, Musica Viva Australia and the MMVLLEN. She also writes about contemporary education and sustainability issues for magazines such as: Shareable (USA) and Earth Garden (AU).
De Chantal holds a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Melbourne; a University where she also taught theory of pedagogy. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Asian Studies. In her previous life, she was a classroom teacher at Geelong Grammar School.
